Investing in dollar spot prevention

Once seen as occasional isolated outbreaks, dollar spot is now being widely experienced across all areas of golf courses. Syngenta has been at the forefront of investigating integrated control strategies, with on-course trials across the country. The research to prevent dollar spot outbreaks aims to develop integrated strategies of cultural practices and timely fungicide applications, supported by a new Smith Kerns model in the Turf Advisor app.
Also of hear the experience of Operation Pollinator at Corhampton, on Monday 22 January, where Iestyn Carpenter will discuss how the team at the Hampshire club have embraced the Operation Pollinator initiative to provide rare habitats for at risk species. Iestyn will outline how to help your club embrace ecology and move projects forward, as well as applying for grants and producing the best results.
