BTME 2018 Continue to Learn
New BTME 2018 Continue to Learn programme content gives Head Greenkeepers and Course Managers the chance to grasp the latest Fungicide Fundamentals for more effective disease management

This year’s BTME Continue to Learn programme offers the chance to get bang up to date with Fungicide Fundamentals.

New for 2018, the comprehensive one-day workshop will give you the chance to gain a better understanding of the complex and changing world of fungicide chemistry.

Aimed at head greenkeepers and course managers, this workshop, on Sunday 21 January, will enable turf managers to manage disease more effectively, to deliver consistently better surfaces for their members, and get best value for money out of every application.

What you'll know by the end of the day:

  • Understand how different fungicides work
  • Learn how chemicals are discovered and developed
  • Identify how to target disease at the right time
  • Create a sustainable fungicide programme
  • Understand fungicide resistance

The Workshop will be presented by Daniel Lightfoot, calling on leading specialists from Syngenta and independent research and technical businesses.

It will highlight the key issues facing greenkeepers today for effective disease control, and provide practical information for them to integrate into everyday turf management strategies.

The six-hour one-day workshop costs £110 for BIGGA members, or £215 for non-members.
